Construction of the S'Agaró Catamaran
“Catamaran” comes from the Tamil word Kaṭṭumaram, where kaṭṭu means “union” and maram means “tree”; that is, “joined trunks”.
The catamaran was used by the Parava, a community of fishermen from southern Tamil Nadu in India, in the 5th century AD.
Deck Equipment
Hoods, deck, transverse joints and reinforcements. Built in FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic), finished in gel coat, anti-slip surface on deck, oversized laminated reinforcements at all points and collision bulkhead at the bow.

Open monofilament netting with UV resistance, ideal for dolphin watching and for the relaxation of passengers.
Rudders
Built from FRP and stainless steel, fixed, robust, and very effective. Designed to allow approaches and beach landings without the risk of damage. The steering system is very comfortable; the rudders of both hulls are synchronized and are steered from the deck with two traditional tillers.
